I am a political scientist interested in how power, expertise and capitalism reshape states and democracy, especially in the Europen Union. I look at politics and institutions from a critical political economy perspective, combining qualitative and quantitative methods with a broader interdisciplinary outlook. Part of my research also looks ahead: I work on critical futures studies, strategic foresight and anticipatory governance, exploring how institutions imagine, prepare for and govern possible futures.
